Right 2 Manage Dorset Ltd has been appointed representatives of a local Bournemouth insurance broker.

In accordance with FSA rules, all insurance is placed through approved brokers. The brokers research the Property Management insurance market and obtain three competitive quotes for our consideration and approval. Property Owners are advised to have their own contents insurance policy. Generally, we don't make a charge for administering property insurance claims. If a property becomes empty, it is essential that we are notified immediately. If a property is left without an occupant for more than 30 consecutive days, insurers will not pay for any claim arising under Malicious Damage, Damage to Water Installations, Theft of the Perils Insured and Glass of the Extensions to the Policy.

However, there are some exceptions. These include:

-    If the gas, electricity, oil, and water supplies are turned off & during October to March the water system is      drained.
-    If during April to September the gas, electricity, oil & water supplies are turned off, or during October to          March the central heating system is left on for 4+ hours every 24 hours.
-    The property is visited & inspected internally and externally at least once during each week by you.
-    The premises are cleared of any combustible materials or rubbish.
-    All doors and windows are secured.

It's also essential that we are notified if a property is let. Non-disclosure of such information may invalidate your insurance.
